Approach

Dr. Tetlow synthesizes training from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill medical school with extensive training in integrative and functional medicine over decades. She has been mentoring clinicians in conventional and integrative medicine since 2002 and completed Fellowship training at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine in 2010. She explains test results so they make sense, and sees each patient holistically so patients truly heal so they can then shift their focus toward what brings them joy.

Approach

  • Osteopathic Family Medicine Physician with a focus in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM); Dr. Jen offers functional medicine and OMM to treat most systemic chronic conditions as well as musculoskeletal and visceral concerns; offers OMM across the lifespan, from birth.

  • Dr. Patterson integrates Functional Medicine, OMM and hypnosis to remove barriers to healing mind and body. Each modality supports the other as part of a whole person approach to health. She seeks to help patients maintain their best cognitive and physical state in every stage of life, with attention to emotional health and work-life balance.

Approach

Lynda is exceptional at partnering with patients where they are. She is trained in all aspects of integrative medicine including hormone balance, autoimmune including IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Syndrome including Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis), thyroid, adrenal, mood, bone health and sleep disorders, and is an expert in assisting patients to achieve weight loss. She also brings expertise in gastrointestinal concerns including IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome), bowel regularity, food sensitivities and how to expand dietary choices in a way that works for patients and their bodies.

All integrative plans are highly personalized and Lynda helps you to articulate your specific intention to live into a healthier life.

Education

Lynda has been a practicing CRNP since 1999. She completed her Integrative Medicine fellowship at Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona--formerly Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1999. Functional Medicine trained and certified, Institute for Functional Medicine.

Amy Nutter, MSN, ACNP, BC, IFMCP, is an Advanced Practice Integrative Nurse Practitioner specializing in integrative and functional medicine. With over 25 years of nursing experience and a passion for helping individuals achieve optimal health, Amy brings a holistic approach to patient care, addressing the mind, body, and soul.

Amy completed the certification program through the Institute for Functional Medicine, solidifying her commitment to staying at the forefront of innovative healthcare practices. Over the past five years, she has dedicated herself to the field of functional medicine, embracing its diverse modalities alongside conventional treatments.

Driven by her desire to see patients thrive, Amy collaborates closely with individuals, empowering them to actively participate in their healing journey. She believes in taking the time to truly understand each patient's unique needs, developing personalized plans aimed at achieving their wellness goals. In addition to her extensive training, Amy is also certified in Reiki levels 1 and 2, adding an energetic healing dimension to her practice. She has also completed a 9-month herbalism course, accumulating over 36 hours of coursework, further enhancing her ability to provide comprehensive and holistic care.

Outside of her practice, Amy finds solace in nature, often spending her free time walking amidst the beauty of the outdoors. As a dedicated mother of two sons, she also enjoys cheering them on from the sidelines during their various sporting activities. Originally from Michigan, Amy's adventurous spirit has led her to explore 49 states, with Alaska eagerly awaiting as her final destination. Her passion for integrative and functional medicine extends beyond the clinic, as she avidly immerses herself in podcasts, webinars, and journal articles to remain abreast of the latest developments in her field.

Amy thrives on collaboration and values the camaraderie of her interdisciplinary team, working together to craft tailored treatment plans that prioritize the well-being of their patients.
